After moving into their new European Headquarters on Fenchurch Street, I approached CNA Hardy with a proposal to theme their London offices with art of their global office locations. Fortunately I owned porfolios of several of their office locations and my work was chosen. Part of the project was to photograph locations not yet in my portfolio which I did immediately (Cologne, Lyon and Milan). This was for the London office. After installation at the end of 2015, the company went through a period of expansion during which they opened new offices across Europe and Asia. It was decided my work would theme all their offices, to maintain a consistent look and due to the breadth of work I was able to offer. For each office project I visited the local branch (pre-move in on some occasions) and I collaborated with the local staff to offer something unique for each office. This involved additional photography of their local area and a request to have a photograph of the parent company Headquarters in Chicago. By the end of 2018 I had travelled to Asia (Shanghai, Singapore), Europe (Amsterdam, Cologne, Luxembourg, Lyon, Milan), North America (Chicago) and UK (Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Norwich).

5 Essex Chambers commissioned me to take black and white photographs of the local Inns of Court, which were framed in simple black frames.

Cripps had recently moved into new London offices in Victoria and their six Meeting Rooms were named after London architects: Bentley, Cubitt, Fowke, Nash, Waterhouse and Wren. I photographed buildings they designed in London and present a selection here.

Forresters have offices in Birmingham, Liverpool, London and Munich. They wished to licence images of all four locations for Marketing use. At the time of the commission I did not own a portfolio of Liverpool and so I was commissioned to photograph the city over two days in November. Some of the results are below.

The Berkeley Partnership requested local images, in addition to New York images where they have an International office. I photographed black and white images of the details around Farringdon, including statues, clocks, signs, church doors and pub signs. Here is a small selection.

Prior to moving to their new headquarters in 20 Fenchurch Street, my proposal to theme the Meeting Rooms with art of Markel International’s global office locations was chosen. Several of these rooms had digital screens with no room for printed artwork. Therefore, I suggested four images per location on a time loop - sunrise, day, sunset and night images - which would correspond to the location represented. Smaller Meeting Rooms with available wall space was chosen to have printed artwork, on the high-end medium diasec. The commission was to photograph all their global office locations. Due to time constraints before move-in, I photographed the majority of locations in 2014. Images from stock libraries were used to temporarily fill in the locations I would then photograph in 2015.

The commission took me to Asia (Dubai, Hong Kong), Europe (Barcelona, Dublin, Madrid, Munich, Rotterdam, Stockholm, Zurich), North America (Montreal, Toronto) and UK cities (Bristol, Leeds, London).

Enyo Law commissioned me to produce images of London to reflect their location within the City. The two skylines were chosen to decorate a Meeting Room which had no windows and provided “windows” to London. The blue series were taken to reflect their corporate work and to match the blue decor in the room. This gave birth to the idea of a series called “Looking Up”. I had a special request to photograph Lady Justice and the Scales of Justice, which, upon research, I discovered in many locations around London. A few examples are shown here.
