CAMBRIDGE: Magdalene College
CAMBRIDGE: Magdalene College
from £273.00
Magdalene College was initially founded in 1428 as a Benedictine hostel. It was in 1542 that it was re-founded as the College of St Mary Magdalene. During its history, Samuel Pepys was a student of the college.
I captured this serene image of Magdalene College along the River Cam one early morning in winter, prior to the first lockdown. The weather was perfect, allowing me to capture a deep blue in the morning sky with calm conditions on the water.
