The Oriental Pearl TV Tower stands on the Pudong in central Shanghai. It was designed by the Shanghai Modern Architectural Design Co. Ltd. and opened in 1994. It is an iconic building standing at 468m and the tallest structure in China until 2007. The Shanghai Tower is now the tallest building in China and the second tallest in the world, standing at 632m.

This was one of my first photographs taken on my trip to Shanghai in 2018. Taken at dusk on the first day of The Golden Week, a week of national holidays.
